My original intention at Wigwok was to be involved with finding ways to produce regenerative silvopasture working with recycled materials and utilizing goats for invasive species removal. I hope to be able to accurately measure carbon sequestration activity on the forest floor or in animal pens using opensource technology. Primarily, I utilize grass clippings and woodchips for such sequestration. Currently, I have been vexed with hemlock and white snake root and have not been able to utilized animals due to the poisonous nature of the invasive species. In addition to that, I have found a never ending drive toward urban development that insists I purchase machines and herbicides to trammel all of the unimproved land available to me.
I'm interested in improving my understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence. It is kind of fascinating, the technology that is becoming available, and maybe someday it will lead to significant breakthroughs in the field of neuroscience. In the meantime, it would be nice if I could find an application for such software libraries in a manner that could both improve the environment and my quality of life.
